The frogs are multiplying. In a small pond next to my office buildings this scene repeats itself every spring. This year I got the timing right and brought my camera. The frogs are the most common Danish species: Common Frog, or in Danish: Butsnudet frø. The latin name is Rana temporaria.
Each year the number of frogs seem to be increasing and the eggs covers an area of at least 10 square meters. Unfortunately, the water level in the pond decreases during the spring, and many of the eggs does not hatch before they dry out.

I have added a little bit more information in the Danish version in my Bruunshaab blog.
